Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Urination And Bacterial Infection

It s complicated. I ll start in 2007. I was a serious marijuana smoker. I started to have problems urinating. By problems I mean, it was slightly challenging to pee. I was at the time I was 27 yrs old. I ignored it. In 2009 the problem still persisted. Getting worse. At that time I went to jail for 40 days. I noticed that the problem stopped. I noticed immediately it started again when I got out of jail. Coincidentally I also went back to smoking marijuana as it was my favorite thing to do and the only drug that I indulged in. The problem got worse to the point that in 2011 I went to the doctor and he checked my prostate which was the worst thing I had ever had done in my life, as I am a young male and right now I m 33 years old.it turns out nothing was wrong with me and he just gave me some pills to kill what he called a bacterial infection. Since then fearing that I do not want to go back to the doctor for that he will do the same thing to me again. The problem has gotten worse I cannot pee without sitting down and sometimes it feels like I have to pee really really bad and nothing will come out its very painful. Well last year I got in trouble for my marijuana activities, and was ordered to have drug test every month until June of this year. Now the problem is still very very bad, until recently. I noticed today that I can pee a lot easier without challenge or having to sit down that the stream was steady and strong. And not dribbling or coming out like a kinked hose squirting here in their. Coincidentally I stopped completely smoking marijuana 5 days ago. I m not sure if this is possibly the cause of my problem. Can you help me?

Hello,

Your symptom seems to be associated with Marijuana use. A few short term effects or adverse effects of Marijuana are altered senses (for example, seeing brighter colors), altered sense of time, changes in mood, impaired body movement, difficulty with thinking and problem-solving, impaired memory, hallucinations (when taken in high doses), delusions (when taken in high doses), and psychosis (risk is highest with regular use of high potency marijuana).

Long term usage side effects are urinary retention, significant decline in general knowledge and in verbal ability, increased heart rate, breathing problem, intense nausea, temporary hallucinations, temporary paranoia, and worsening symptoms in patients with schizophrenia.

Hence, your symptom of difficulty in urination was purely because of Marijuana.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
