Hello,

Health problems: Some women have diseases or conditions that affect their hormone levels, which can cause infertility.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS): Women with PCOS rarely or never ovulate. Failure to ovulate is the most common cause of infertility in women. But getting pregnant is hard for women with POI.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Monish De, Oncologist
