Suggest Treatment For Diarrhoea, Nausea And Neck Pain

My daughter/24 yrs has diarrhea, nausea and pain at the base of her head and upper part of neck. No fever, no vomiting. Has tried to eat soup, but diarrhea has returned. Has a stuffy nose. The headache is what concerns me. Took Imodium for diarrhea and Aleve for aches.

Hello Dr Faisal here,
I have read and understood your query. The stuffy nose associated with a headache means that she might have developed sinusitis.if there is no fever you can use simply use paracetamol and nasal decongestant and can take steam to clear sinuses. Diarrhea is also without fever and so it will also settle over next 2 to 3 days . just keep her hydrated ( 250 ml O.R.S. for each episode of diarrhea).take clear liquids first(ORS) and then soup.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take Care
Regards.
