Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea In A Diabetic Person
Sir,my father is 52 year s old and he is a diabetic and hypertension patient But it is in control, he is taking metformin. He has diarrhoea problem, he often takes antibiotics like cisco to and is very worried with loose stools.the problem is that till he takes ciplox tz he fills fine but after that again loose stools. Please help me

Hello,
It may be due to stomach infection.
For further assessment, you may require complete hemogram, stool analysis, ultrasound abdomen after physician consultation.
For diarrhea, you can take tablet metronidazole after physician consultation.
You may require an oral rehydration solution after solution.
Take plenty of water and fluids. Keep your self hydrated.
