hello bhaskar,
i read your query and understand your concern.since you have given a history of non veg items since last two days,i would say he has a mild case of food poisoning.

it would be helpful if you could provide details of what his stools are like(watery,mucus/blood ins tool etc) and whether he has abdominal pain(if yes, which part of abdomen0,fever or vomiting along with the diarrhea.

first of all, make sure he is adequately hydrated,as with every episode of loose stools, the body loses substantial amount of water.please watch out for signs like drowsiness, severely dry lips and mouth, cold hands or feet, fast breathing which all point towards dehydration.

Medicines are not normally given to stop diarrhoea to children under 12 years old.you can give him ors solution diluted in wated as often as he wants.

If diarrhea occurs another couple of times with or without fever,i would suggest to start antibiotics-ofloxacin and ornidazole(normal dose available is 200mg ofloxacin+500mg ornidazole for adults),so give him half of that twice daily for 5 days.
and also tab racecadotril 50mg thrice daily for 2 or 3 days, which will reduce the loose stool volume

Hope i have clarified your query and hope it helps.pls follow up in case of doubts.good day
