Hi, I am 40 years old and recently went to the dr about frequent frontal dull headaches for about the last 6 months. My blood test came back with high GGT (145) I m about 15kg overweight and run a wine bar so tends to drink a little on the job too. I walk my dogs and recently have lost about 6kg. My appettite is good and I think my diet is too. I eat fruit, veg, salads and dairy and hate smoking. My bowels aren t as regular as they used to be with occasional diarrhea and constipation but it doesn t seem to be triggered by any sort of food? I travel a bit throughout Asia but always drink bottled water; although got quite sick in India last I was there. My dad has cardiac problems - two heart attacks in recent years. the only other thing of note in my bloods were my triglyceride levels = 2.3. My cholesterol seems fine at 4.5. Should I ask for further tests when I go back and see my dr as he think he was worried about a possible cardiac problem but reading below responses it could just be more my alcohol consumption?
