Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Stomach Pain
My mom has had diarrhea for a few days now, and a stomach pain started this morning. It is at the top of the stomach, dead center, sharp pain that comes and goes. She said she feels a bit better after she burps but only for a very limited time. She is very cold. Dehydration and the pain worry me... should I be, or will this just run it s course (flu?)

I'd like firstly to suggest what your mother has probably taken this days with diarrhea: oral rehydration solutions, and then antispastics for the pain (Buscopan f.ex). Even probiotics are a good option for use. In time she should get the temperature at least two times a day. If pain continues and diarrhea exacerbates even with this medicines, in my country taken even over the counter, then I'd suggest that an infectionist should see your mother.
