So I m in a bit of a pickle. I m a 23 year old female, usually in good health. Non smoker. Social rare drinker. I get a lot of urinary tract infections. I just received antibiotics for one I have now. I m on day 3 of those. Meanwhile, with this uti I became sick with a stomach bug. My whole family had it. Started with my younger sister and worked it s way around. This bug consists of vomiting and for me diarrhea that is straight water. I have had it for 3 days now and as far as I feel as a whole, slightly better but I can t get rid of the diarrhea. I tried Pepto bismol and it did nothing. Well last night after my first real meal since I came down with this I got really bad acid reflux. I have gerd. But I had soup for dinner due to I wasn t sure if I was ready for a big meal. Now the following morning I still have heart burn, my stomach keeps gurgling, I have had 2 diarrhea episodes since I ve been awake and have little appetite. What is going on? Should I see a doctor? I know diarrhea isn t good if it lasts a certain amount of time. It is now black colored but that could be from Pepto. I read that turns stool black.
