Suggest Treatment For Diabetic Neuropathy
I need to know if Foltanx is a true equivalent of Metanx. My pharmacy will not provide Metanx because of tis cost, but will provide Foltanx. On the web I read it is not a good substitute because of the quality of the ingredients used, and they recommend a combination of Vit B. I have diabetic neuropathy and need to be sure I get the best combination.

Foltanx and Metanx, both are drugs containing vitamin B12 and B6. But Metanx contain these vitamins in their active form and hence is considered to be superior to Foltanx. Some describe Foltanx as the generic version of Metanx. Hence, Metanx should be the first choice wherever possible. If not available, the other drug can be used.
