Hello Thanks for writing in HCM I had gone through your query and understood your concerns. diabetes can be controlled by following 1.strict diet 2. exercise like cycling ,thread mill 3.third is drugs without first 2 its not possible to control it everydrug has side effects few effect liver and few kidney but you need not worry about them as they do not effect if used in proper dose Hope this guides you.
