Suggest Treatment For Diabetes And Blood Pressure

sir my self d k sinha having diabetes last 10 year and blood presser last 15 currently my doctor is prescribe gemmer fort 1 for morning and evening and transenta 20 on in morning and olmisar 20 in evening all medications and suger lever fasting 100-140 and pp 130-170 . my question is all medicine is having side effect can you suggest better medicine.

Hi.

I can Understand your concern.

As per Information given - You are taking GEMER FORTE (glimepiride + metformin) two times a day.
There might be some spell mistake in second drug you mentioned - Transent
It could be Tradjenta (Linagliptin) which is anti diabetic medicine.
Third drug is Olmisar (Olmisartan) - anti hypertensive medicine.

As far as side effects are concerns - all clinically used medicine have some adverse effects but its benefits over wights side effects.
All drug you are currently taking are in general safe medicine without any major side effects.
As you have not mentioned any particular side effect you are having by taking those medicines which would have given more idea by drug you should replace to

My advice would be if you are currently not suffering from Side effects and your Blood sugar as well as Blood pressure are under control - There is no need to change the therapy which you are currently taking.
