Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Dear doctor yesterday during usual check up done TMT test. The result was Max.HR-157bpm 92% of max predicted 170bpm, Max.B.P.170/80, Max.workload 12.6 METs Comments ST DEPRESSION IN INFEROLATERAL LEADS AT PEAK EXERCISE WITH EARLY RECOVERY . NO SYMPTOMS DURING EXERCISE. IMPRESSION: TEST IS MILDLY POSITIVE FOR INDUCIBLE ISCHEMIA . the physician advised me to see a cardiaologist. let me know whether there is any heart problem
In such cases I would ask detailed history regarding risk factors for coronary artery disease and will try to rectify those risk factors plus life style modifications and supportive treatment according to your blood reports which includes lipid profile,Blood sugar levels,Kidney function test and hemoglobin levels.
At this point I wouldnt recommend further procedures like angiography because you are asymptomatic.
I suggest you to consult nearby cardiologist and take an opinion.
Happy to Help You.
Thanks
Regards, Dr.Om
