Suggest Treatment For Dementia

I am bipolar I, diagnosed 5/18/17 by my Psychiatrist of 23 years. I am an avid student of Cognitive Therapy. I love to learn and was planning on taking a class or tow at Bellarmine University in the Fall. I ve had excellent care. I need to learn about dementia.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Since you don't have a specific question and are simply interested in learning about a topic may a suggest a slightly different route since the topic of "dementia" is vast and not easily "taught" on a network such as this one.

There are definitely online courses which you could take on this topic and probably even entire disciplines offered by schools in psychology with special emphasis on dementing illnesses, etcetera.

That is where you can "study" the topic and get engrossed into the subject matter. Otherwise, if you simply have a few questions you are welcome to send them to me at: www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dariush Saghafi
