deep laceration in the groin (junction of the anterior thigh and hip regions). On physical examination, the physician notes that Patient C is unable to extend her knee, suggesting paralysis of the anterior thigh muscles. Sensation is absent over the anterior thigh, medial crus, and medial foot. No additional motor or sensory deficits are noted

Well come to HCM
If this is injury deep laceration so this must have cut the nerve system of the leg, depends how serious is the injury, some time this can be repaired surgically, better to have the opinion from neurosurgeon, hope this information helps, take care.
