Suggest Treatment For Dark Spots On Face

Hi..
I identified dark spots on my face exactly on my cheek bone to side of eye area as an black patch. It was all of a sudden I got that. My friends are saying that it was an affect by pigmentation. Even two of my friends got the same problem and they consulted dermatologist. doctor gave melas cream.

So now as I got the same problem can I use melas without consulting dermatologist? Mine is very sensitive skin. So Will it reflect any side effects?

can you please suggest me?

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

Brief answer - Generalized Hyper pigmentation

Detailed answer - As per your query dark spots on cheek bone to side of eye area as an black patch is because of increased sensitivity of getting pigmented. Due to increased sun exposure and increased sensitivity body is absorbing UV rays of sun and getting pigmented. Need not to worry. As you want to use mela cream without proper prescription, it could be possible side effects can happen as it varies from skin to skin texture. I would suggest you to apply cream rich in Azelaic acid or Kojic acid. Apply on face twice daily. It will lighten skin. Use medicated sunscreen such as Tancare rich in SPF 30. You can go for home remedy as well. Apply mashed potatoes on these pigments. Apply aloe vera gel it will resolve. apply cotton dipped in tea tree oil to lighten the pigments. You can visit dermatologist once and can go for chemical peeling or micro abrasion if your symptoms not resolving. Take supplements rich in vitamin C.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
