Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Skinlite is a cream containing a mid potent steroid and its prolonged use can cause side effects like skin thinning, rosacea and whitish depigmentation. You should use it only under the guidance of a dermatologist and for not more than 4-6 weeks.
For the dark patches, I suggest that you use a broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 and above every 4 hours.
At bed time, use a lightening cream containing kojic acid, liquorice, arbutin and niacinamide.
You could get glycolic acid based peels done by a dermatologist.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
