Suggest Treatment For Daily Headaches And Sweet Taste In Mouth
Hello, I have been having daily headaches and have been waking up with a sort of sweet taste in my mouth. I had my blood sugar tested earlier today after eating quite a bit of sugary foods and it tested at 162. What can I do to lower my blood sugar and keep it down?
You might have tension headache which is a primary or simple headache caused by some precipitating or triggering factor which is relieved by OTC analgesics (ibuprofen, naproxen, diclofenac) and eliminating this triggering factor.
Tension headache may last for few hours to some days depending on triggering or precipitating factor like heavy sunlight exposure, sleep deprivation, wrong or uncomfortable posture, eye strains, stress, long working hours in one position etc.
Your 162 mg% blood sugar if it is taken randomly then it can be borderline but I would advice you to check fasting blood sugar and post prandial sugar which will give accurate results.
To lower blood glocose you need to curtail excess carbohydrates and sweet diet
