Suggest Treatment For Cyst Near Chin

hi i am a medical student at sixth grade . i have a recurrent problem of cyst like structure near the chin (not related to ingrown hair as i checked it , no hair found when i popped it out) the first time came to notice when i felt a small painful lump near the chin . i thought it was folliculitis so i popped it (but no hair! ) i sterilize it with povidone and took erythromycin pills . it was clear completely in a week (thank god) . but after about a month , it came back again(at the same site) and now filled with a blood . i tried the same treatment and it is successful the question is ... what is it ?!! how can i prevent it ? thanks in advance

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having infected Sebaceous cyst giving this problem often.
Antibiotic will give temporary relief of controlling infection but recurrence is always there due to collection of cheesy material into the sac.
Consult surgeon and get it excised with removal of sac.
Ok and take care.
