Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
sir i have been declared unfit due to cubitus valgus by armed forces medical board for commission in navy because my carrying angle of elbow is more than 20 degree.what can i do? what problem occurs due to more carrying angle in the training of armed forces? plz guide me
The history indicates that there is a deviation in the elbow joint. When there is a deviation in the elbow joint beyond the normal values the chances of landing into fracture are more often. This could be one of the reasons the armed forces rejected your physical test application.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
