Hi, I was recently given trimovate cream by my doctor to help with cracked lips, I am currently on the contraceptive pill microgynon, when I picked up the prescription the chemist told me that it would reduce the effectivness of my pill, my doctor did ask if i was using it as a contraceptive aswell as for severe period pains, I said no, but now I am reluctant to use the cream as I am secually active and do NOT want to become pregnant...I am only 15 but will be 16 in 3 weeks, should I go back to the chemist and ask what is the best thing to do or should I tell my doctor next time I am due the prescription for my pill that I am sexually active? Please help.
