I started with a cold about three weeks ago. I now have a horrible cough that is not producing any mucus. It hurts to breathe I am tired no matter how much sleep I get and can't decide if I am hot or cold. My chest feels as though it is rattling when I try to breathe this has been going over a week now I have tried everything from Cough drops Nyquil detail and nytimes nothing helps seems to get worse

go for x-ray chest and complete blood check up with ESR and Eosinophil count.
In Eosinophilia there might be having this distressing symptoms with chronic cough.
After report go for treatment accordingly.
