Hi..
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain it seems that you have an UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTION leading to Pharyngitis and cough..
It is commonly caused by viral infection but there can be a secondary bacterial infection along with viral infection..
Nothing to worry, consult an ENT expert and get evaluated..
He/she can advise you to take a 10 days course of antibiotics like Azithromycin 500 mg once a day.
Do warm saline gargles.
Take a cough expectorant 2 to 3 times a day..
Decongestant medication containing Pseudoephadrine[ Sudafed] can be taken to relieve congestion and shortness of breath..
Steam inhalations and using humidifier at home can help.
Take plenty of rest..
Avoid hot and spicy food..
Avoid chilled fluids..

Hope this helps..

Thanks and regards..
