my mother is 93 and 10 months and recently had a stent in her left leg unblocked. This caused a haematoma in her abdomin. This is slowly reducing. She then had Influenza A which hospitalised her. She is home again however still has the cough and has some dark stains on her underware which concerns me. The complications caused 3/4 of her left lung top be filled with flued which was drained twice. This is now minimal.
thanks for your question i completely understand your question Usually, you'll need nothing more than bed rest and plenty of fluids to treat the flu. But in some cases, your doctor may prescribe an antiviral medication, such as oseltamivir or zanamivir . If taken soon after you notice symptoms, these drugs may shorten your illness by a day or so and help prevent serious complications. thanks feel free to ask more questions may god bless your family with good health
