Suggest Treatment For Cough, Cold And Fever

Hi sir, my son age 3yrs suffering with cold,cough and fever from 3days. I m giving him crocin syrup of 9ml and colonic syrup of 5ml for every 8hrs. But stil his symptoms are continuing.. Plz suggest him proper medication. Even he is unable to take proper breath.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms of cold, cough and fever from 3 days seems to be probably due to upper respiratory tract infection also known as Common Cold and as it is just three days of continuation of the symptoms, you need not to worry as it will resolve gradually in a week..

As it is a viral infection it generally subsides once the virus completes its course in human body..

As of now you can continue giving supportive treatment like Crocin syrup for reducing fever and aches, you can also put saline nasal drops as it will help in loosening the mucous and easy drainage and will ease the breathing..
You can use a humidifier in his room..
Steam inhalations can be relieving..
Do warm compresses over chest..
Give him plenty of fluids and water and a soft diet..
Give sufficient rest..

In case of no improvement in a week consult a Paediatrician and get evaluated..
