I had what I thought was a bad sinus infection ( because I have had it before but never this long 3 weeks. I went to the doctor and she said that I had the flu. She gave me tamiflu and Doxy-Cycl-hycl 100 mg and a injection I have had the flu before and this illness did not feel like the flu. I was not sick at my stomach, no headaches and not fever or aches or pains and not chills. All I had was a terrible deep cough and congestion in my lungs of which I was taking musinex (guaifenesin 1200 mg with 60 mg of dextromethorphan. I have just taken my last tamiflu and my last Doxy-Cycl-hycl but I still have the Cough. It is not near as bad as it was but I still have bouts of coughing. Is it possible to have the flu and not have fever, headaches, aches and pains and chills. It never felt like the flu, the only reason that I went to the doctor was because it was really difficult to sleep because of the fluid in my lungs.
