Pulmonologist 's  Response
In my opinion you should first undergo chest x ray and consult pulmonologist to rule out lower respiratory tract infection like pneumonia. And your central chest pain on swallowing may be due to GERD. sometimes GERD may cause cough by acid reflux. So follow these simple steps for GERD.
1. Avoid spicy and oily food. .
2. Avoid heavy meals, Take frequent small meals.
3. Take good antacids like pantoprazole and rabeprazole with prokinetic agents like levosulperide.
4. Avoid stress and anxiety and keep calm.
5. Go for walk after meals.
6. Keep 2 - 3 pillows below your head in the bed.
