Suggest Treatment For Continuing Loose Motion In A Child

My son is eight year old. He is suffering from loose motion for past 7 days. He is being given ofloxin for 5 days as prescribed by doctor. Still no improvement. He feels very week and in his stool routine it showed infection which was not seen in culture after 48 hours. The frequency as of now is 2 to 3 times a day in which first one is somewhat ok rest sometimes he even can not stop and get the same in his pant. He is also not feeling eating any thing. I had administrated all the vaccines including of hepatitis earlier as and when said by doctors and also no sign of same is evident till date.Now the doctor had advised sucrafil o and enterogermina . Please suggest do i need to worry and what should i do

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of your 8 year old son having loose motions for 7 days.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Change over the antibiotic to other under the guidance of another pediatrician as a second opinion helps to find out something that one misses out.
Add on probiotic.
It is possible that the source of infection is the water and/or the food that is causing the problems.
Get water treatment and provide fresh home-made food only.
Send the sample for tests again including the culture and sensitivity.
Blood culture sometimes helps to get the correct diagnosis.
