Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Uneasiness In Stomach

Hi i was suffering with pain in chest rib since i felled down. X Ray revealed no fracture but since thr was pain Dr prescribed Lorsaid SD. I am taking this tab for past 9days but facing digestion issues. Initially it was only nausia but past three days i have constipation and now uneasiness in stomach

Lorsaid sd contains lornoxicam which is a NSAIDs group of drug used to treat pain. These drugs are considered as a very common factor of causing peptic ulcer. So concurrent administration of a proton pump blocker like pantoprazole 40mg is recommended to prevent increased acid output.
Again abdominal pain, nausea, headache, constipation or diarrhea, visual disturbances etc are common side effects with this drug. So the symptoms you are facing may be due to side effects of this drug which are mainly self limited.
So its adviced to take pantoprazole with domperidone combination drug once in the morning while using lorsaid sd to combat such side effects you are facing. If the symptoms persist even after then or gradually increasing you may have to visit your physician to change the drug to a new one.
