Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Painful Bowel Movement In A Child
I have a 5 year old daughter that is having serious digestion issues and has had constipation and major pain with bowel movements for over a year. She takes fiber and it helps. At what point do we insist on taking her to a specialist to see why she is having so many issues? She eats a very healthy diet, try to limit dairy and other items that constipate and eat a lot of whole foods/fiber fruit etc.
continue to give fiber rich diet. let her drink more water. give her fresh fruits and vegetable. let her take a deworming dose. if she does not improve then can consult pediatrician.she should be advised for better bowel habit.
