What Is The Prognosis After An Incomplete Colonoscopy Due To Bowel Abnormalities?
My dad recently had a colonoscopy that the Dr. could not finish. She said that his bowel was curved and when she put the scope in, it almost felt as though there was a blockage and she didn t want to perferate (sorry, spelling) the bowel. He is now scheduled for blood work and a CT scan.

You can do virtual colonoscopy through CT Imaging
the good thing about this is there is no need for tube insertion.
the downside of CT colonography is though you can visualise the lesion but if you want a biopsy you have to proceed for conventional colonoscopy because
with CT colonography biopsy is not possible.
