I ve had a stuffy/runny nose for a month and a half and more recently it has moved into my chest and I spend at least 30-45 minutes every morning coughing up stuff and blowing my nose. I ve also had diarrhea for just about as long that went away for a week and is now back. My doctor put me on one of the strongest antibiotics and it did nothing for me. I ve been off taking them for 2 weeks now.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood your query. You has a stuffy and runny nose for one and half months. Severe coughing with lots pf phlegm which needed 30-45 minutes to clear in the morning and incidentally you developed diarrhea.
All such cases needs to be well investigated: CT scan of the chest and abdomen to rule out any tuberculosis since you are suffering for such a long time. Test of blood, urine, stool, phlegm for culture, sensitivity, gram staining and TB.
Treatment will depend upon the reports and you may need a specific treatment.
