Suggest Treatment For Cloudy Urine And Water Infection

I have noticed that for the past 9 months after having a water infection my urine is now a lot darker colour also cloudy and has a strong smell too it. I have been for tests, ie, bladder, kidney, chlamydia and liver and apparently all come back okay, but, since the the infection it s never been the same? Also I take cocaine occasionly ?

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

The darker urine color and cloudy appearance with strong smell are indicating a concentrated and infected urine.

I highly recommend to repeat an urine analysis, can buy one home testing at your local drug store to evaluate the presence of pus cells and red blood cells.

Meanwhile, I advise to:
- increase fluids intake especially plain water
- take OTC urine antacids/antiseptics containing uva-ursi, cranberry, etc.
- avoid cocaine as it will make things worse, you do not need that

After getting the urine result, if abnormal, should ask your physician to prescribe antibiotic as you might need it.
