Suggest Treatment For Cloudy Urine And Burning Sensation

I am on Alprim & Kefflex on alternate weeks and was doing fine but yesterday I went to lunch and had some white wine (not much) and this morning urine is slightly cloudy and slight burning. I took my alprim 300 yesterday afternoon as my urulogist told me I could take them anytime no need to wait until bed time.can u plesse tell me where I have wrong. I get lots of uti s MV

Hi welcome to HCM...

You have not mentioned your previous history and diagnosis and for which such drug given like trimethoprime which is mostly used in chronic prostatitis ....

You are according to history having urinary tract infection....
Work up needed with. ...
1.Urine routine microscopic examination
2.If pus cell and bacteria present than culture indicated
3.Trans rectal prostate examination for looking enlarged prostate
4.USG for ccystitis, kidney problem detection if needed

Than accordingly further management can be done with suitable antibiotic or according to need ...
