Suggest Treatment For Clot Due To A Fall Down

Hi Doc, I tripped on my wooden stairs and hit my shin about two inches below the knee and believe that I hit a vein due to the bruising. It happened a week ago and is still really sensitive to the touch, also if I stamp my leg down hard it feels as if there is fluid moving around the wounded area. Should I worry about a travelling clot?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have history of trauma. It leads to hematoma and oedema formation. So you feels like that. You should go for X ray of that part once. If you don't have any bone injury then no need to worry. Wound will heal within few days. If you have any fractures then consult orthopedic surgeon and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
