For the past three years I ve been having problems with diarrhea. It all started a few years ago when I got nervous for a test and had really bad diarrhea. After that I slowly got it more and more over the course of a year until it was almost everyday. Ever since then I get it everyday before school or anytime I have to go anywhere. I m completely fine when spending the day at home. It s almost as if I ve gotten into a cycle where I automatically have it whenever I have to go anywhere. Within the past couple years I ve also begun to get anxiety issues, so that may play a role. I think it s physcological because it only happens when I have to leave the house. I ve tried everything from pepto, not thinking about it, accepting it, ignoring it, positive thinking, everything but nothings working and I m getting frusterated because I m unable to focus in school or play sports feeling my stomach rumble and my guts turn and stressing about having to run to a bathroom or go in my pants 24/7. I m a teenager and I want to go out and do things and travel and have fun but this is keeping me at home and I don t know what to do. Please help.
