Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to inflammation or an infection. Zoster infection can not be excluded either.

I recommend consulting as soon as possible with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a resting ECG
- a chest X ray study
- blood work (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate, coagulation tests, blood electrolytes, kidney and liver function tests).

Further tests may be needed to establish the possible cause.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
