Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last night I came home feeling achy and exhausted. I m asthmatic and my chest was hurting a bit. Dressed in sweats and went right to bed. Kept waking up in the middle of the night going back and forth from hot to cold. Woke up still achy and slept on and off all day. Had headache and sinus pressure. Took zyrtec d. Chest still feels like there are weights on it. I ve taken all my asthma medicine, nebulizer and all, but still not feeling right. I don t believe I have or had a fever. Is this a virus? Cold? Flu? Repiratory infection? Or just because I m run down?
This is a situation where you require to see a doctor without waiting for opinion/ advice through HCM. Any chest pain in an adult is not to be ignored. It may be just a viral infection but it is best to make sure that it is only that by a proper examination by a doctor. HCM is meant mainly for non urgent problems where you are benefited by a second opinion or for management of simple ailments where a face to face consultation with a doctor may not be required. Take Care. Dr. Noble Zachariah
