Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain That Occurs While Breathing

Thank you. When inhaling, I feel pain. I had an allergic reaction to wood panels that were treated to cover my glass sliding doors in preparation for the hurricane over a week ago. At first, I took mucinex every 12 hours, since I had no voice whatsoever and thought I had a cold, but no other symptoms. Then later I realized it was the treated wood that had affected me, I started using the nebulizer with saline solution 3 times a day and it has helped.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Chest pain during inhaling indicates infection/inflammation of lung tissue following allergic reaction to wood pannel.
To relieve you would need antibiotics, anti allergic drugs along with bronchodialayer solution added to your nebulizer(asthalin/budesol ...inhaler liquid)... as per your physical status -to be decided by your physician after examining you.
Till then you should avoid exposure to allergen, start taking anti allergic like cetrizine once a day over the counter& continue with saline nebulization.
Thanks.
