Suggest Treatment For Chest Infections

I have had this reccuring chest infectinno for the last 6 months..the first time I was prescribed Ammoxicillin... Second time i was given steriods and Co-Amoxiclav. I have had this irritating cough on and off for months and now have a full blown Infection infection again, with sore throat and sneezing, and for months have been having Angina type pain on my left side, I use a noitrolingual GTN spray but it never goes for more than a few minuites. I just feel so ill.

I can understand your concern.
You might be having pleuritic chest pain and most common cause for this is lung infection.
Your lung infection (pneumonia) is not 100% resolved. You are suffering since 6 months. So possibility of chronic lung disease like tuberculosis, fungal infection or atypical pneumonia is more.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. CT scan of thorax
2. Sputum culture and sensitivity.
3. Bronchoscopy and BAL (bronchoalveolar lavage) analysis.
All these are needed to diagnose the type of infection you are having. On the basis of this, you may need anti tubercular drugs, anti fungal drugs or higher antibiotics.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
