Pd is dopamine loss you can see from a scan, why does every doctor etc, know ataxia, cerebellar degeneration, camp lejune usmc base 34 yrs poisoned drinking water pce/tce etc I done linked the health effects to my diagnosis of cerebellar ataxia, the va is using PD to screw poisoned vets from compensation No one knows cerebellar ataxia, they want parkinsons, ism, ian etc, to get research funding

I would explain that there is no cure for both these disorder.

Anyway, I would recommend performing a brain MRI and a DaT scan in order to make an exact differential diagnosis between these two disorders.

Besides, Parkinson's disease patients have a totally different clinical exam compared to cerebellar ataxia. A careful neurological exam would be enough to differentiate between these two totally different clinical syndromes.
