Suggest Treatment For Cellulitis In An Elderly Person

I am 73 7/o white male, with multiple health issues; recently hospitalized for cellulitis. Since lunch, I ve had little to eat or drink, But due to prescribed Lasix I have peed all afternoon. Just a short while ago, I began to feel uncomfortable. No sweats, pain down arms or jaw. It is SORE when I press on my chest. Afraid to be a fool and go to ER for excess gas, etc. Concerned it might be an impending MI. What do yi=ou suggest I do. My regular family MD is off for the weekend. Hospital is staffed by Asian MD s (hospitalists). Talk to me, please,

Noted the history about a 73 year old white male having multiple problems, feeling uncomfortable but no sweats or pain in chest or arm, under treatment for cellulitis, soreness on pressure on chest and thinking of impending MI, taking lasix too.

Since there is pain or soreness on pressure on chest without any symptoms of pain or referred pain the chances of MI are less but this can be decided only on ECG and other cardiac investigations. Hence I would strongly suggest you to get ECG done and other investigations done. Continue the medicines properly. And take care of the restrictions as needed.
