Suggest Treatment For Cellulitis And Knot On Chin

Hi. I have cellulitis on my chin and now there is a marble sized knot under the skin. I have been on Bactrim DS and Keflex as well as Bactraban sp? ointment. Do you think it s an abscess and if so can it be drained. I am so frustrated. This painful condition is mostly on my chin but on my nose and forehead as well. It just won t heal. What do I do?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is abscess formation and giving antibiotic in early phase of abscess formation may cause antibioma so better to stop the antibiotic and just try anti-inflammatory drugs, and better to see the surgeon because it may need puss draining hope this information helps take care and have a nice day.
