General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Though it is very vital to consider the physical examination of the patient to comment for queries related to a surgical branch, here are my salient guidelines:
- Treatment consist of surgical excision only and there is no medicinal cure for this issue
- Surgery can be a day care if it is of medium size or if prolonged duration when larger size when extensive dissection and prolong anesthesia is required, one or couple of days stay might be demand of time.
- So far as return to work is concerned, you can resume work after 2-3 days of surgery if it is not consisting use of the same hand. If it is not so, then you have to wait till the period of stitches removal and complete wound healing (around 2 weeks average)

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
