Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello! Thank you for asking on HCM! I understand your concern about uncontrolled BP and stroke risks, but first of all I would suggest a visit to your doctor (GP or internist) for a comprehensive physical examination coupled with some lab blood tests, ECG and eventually cardiac ultrasound, to determine the possible consequences of your high BP, any secondary etiology, and to judge about your actual treatment strategy.
Uncontrolled high BP may justify your clinical symptoms, and even more severe health complications.
So my advice is to run to your doctor for a careful check up.
Hope to have been helpful to you! Greetings! Dr. Iliri
