Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation Below Buttocks

Hi. My name is Adam. For over a little over a week and a half I have had a slight burning sensation under each of my buttocks or high thigh. Each side is about the size of a baseball. It doesn t hurt unless I lightly rub it or when I stand up and sit down. I did some internet research and found fibromyalgia. I have alot of the symptoms like intestine issues, jaw feeling fatigued, anxiety, some joint pains and joints popping. But the thing is I have had all of those things for many years prior to any skin pain. As I began to worry about having fibromyalgia I have felt a fatigue in my leg muscles. I guess my question is do I worry about fibromyalgia or is it my anxiety getting the best of me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Fibromyalgia patients can have many symptoms but typically they have multiple tender spots all over the body. Some physical therapy may help with your current symptoms. Don't worry about fibromyalgia but discuss it with your doctor at your next appointment.
