Awkward question but... I have a bump on my right butt cheek. It showed up a few days ago and I thought it was a pimple so I tried to pop it but nothing really came out. The soar has gotten bigger since the day I tried popping it and it s painful to sit down. Please help me find something that will help make this go away
I can understand your concern for bump on buttocks.
It is too early to make a diagnosis and guide you for the best possible cause of bump on buttocks. It could be due to simple boil or due to hemorrhoids or due to any infection also.
I suggest you to keep a watch over the bump on buttocks and if it increases then can meet a family physician or preferably a dermatologist for best help.
Till that time you can apply an antibiotic cream such as gentamycin or mupirocin over the affected area and take a pain killer such as paracetamol for one to two times daily.
Avoid pinching and popping the area as can get further infected.
Take care.
