Suggest Treatment For Bruising, Swelling And Redness On Hand

bruised the back of my hand a few days ago. It swelled and the red is spreading out. I do not believe I broke anything since I can move my fingers, etc. Today I have tingling/numbness in my fingers. I assume this is due to the swelling as the blood travels down my fingers.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
It's not important that all fractures could lead to restriction of movements.
Swelling and redness could be due to soft tissue inflammation.
Still,i suggest you to get an x-ray of your hand ,
as sometimes, hairline fractures also present with such symptoms.
Meanwhile, you can have some anti-inflammatory analgesics like aceclofenac-paracetamol and serratiopeptidase in combination.

Also you can apply a crepe bandage to your hand till you get your x-ray done.If the x-ray comes to be normal, then continue using the crepe bandage for about 3 weeks.

Avoid lifting heavy weights with your hand, and provide maximum rest as far as possible.
