Suggest Treatment For Bruising On The Lower Legs

I fell one week ago on a baby gate and my lower leg is bruised from just below my knee to above my ankle, all down my shin. It is very tender just below my knee and now that the swelling has started to go down, it feels as if something is moving under the skin. is it possible I ve chipped by tibia and if so, how serious is that? (ie is it something I need to seek medical attention for or will it heal on its own)

It is very unlikely that you have developed any significant bone injury to the tibia, for that would have caused significant pain and limitation in your leg movements. Are you able to walk freely? and stretch your legs forward, backward, inwards and outwards? if yes, then no need to worry. If the swelling and pain is coming down those are good signs. Most likely it is just a soft tissue injury under the skin which should heal in 7 to 10 days.
