Suggest Treatment For Bruising Around Toe After A Dog Bite
I had a small dog bite me but didn t really break the skin I couldn t get anything what comes but it severely bruised then part of it turned black about the tip of the finger nail and fell off and the rest is just now big rash the bruising tionship gone away should I be concerned
Hi I did review your concern If the dog was a pet and properly vaccinated then you do not need to worry and can take amoxycillin tablets BD for 7 days to prevent animal bite local infection and get a tetanus vaccine for prevention. However, if there is no vaccination history of dog I would recommend you to go see a doctor immediatedly for antirabies vaccination and also local site anti rabies immunoglobulin Anyhow i would recommend you to Clean the wound with clean water and soap and go see a doctor. Its best to be cautious in dog bites. I hope this helps. Wish you all the best. Thank you for choosing healthcaremagic.
