Suggest Treatment For Bruising And Inflammation In Stomach Due To An Injury

Hi doctor, I was punched in the stomach 2 weeks ago on the left side of my abdomen just below the left ribs. A few hours later I experienced a bruised or inflamed feeling on the left side. At the moment I feel bloated and it feels full. It is very tender when I touch it and it hurts. I am not sure if it s the stomach, a broken/fractured rib or a spleen rupture. Please help. Cheers

See first of all I will advice you to go for x-ray chest and abdominal ultrasound to rule out if any rib fracture or abdominal injury is there or not. Than You have to take some antibiotic after an expert opinion like cap amoxycilline or cap augmentin with tab combiflam or tab meftal-spaz every 8-12 hours for pain and tenderness with tab rantac or tab famotid empty stomach. If anything abnormal found in x-ray or ultrasound than you have to immediately consult to any general surgeon.
